The Winds, WY - Lollipop Loop

Last week I met some of my friends in Salt Lake City and drove to The Wind River Range in Wyoming for a week off the grid. I had previously never heard of the area and didn't really know what to expect. Driving in, we were heading straight into massive storm clouds, which had covered the area in snow, almost knee-deep in places. Over the 50-mile loop we trekked, the rough weather quickly turned from winter to spring, leaving beautiful colors and fast-rushing rivers. The nights were cold but the days were perfect. We wouldn't see people for days on end. I can't wait to get back for a proper granite adventure on the alpine cliffs that watched over us.
