A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to geek out and watch a piece of gaming history take place. Jordan Mechner, the inventor of the old Apple II game Prince of Persia, recovered the game's original source code from the game he wrote two decades ago. Gus Mastrapa wrote a great article for WIRED that is definitely worth the read.

Recovering The Prince of Persia for WIRED
